it's still ramadan here and i am hoping to have more time scrapping ang blogging but i have been too lazy to do things here. the extreme hot weather now (shooting up to 50°C in temperature) gives me frequent headaches. =(

well anyway, i was supposed to be blogging about these last week, blame it on laziness... lol!
here are 2 of my 1 week old new elements:

birthday acrylic flairs. i was planning on creating a minikit for my eldest son's birthday. he turned 7 last thursday. and obviously i was not able to do a minikit, so i decided to come up with these birthday acrylic flair. i got inspired from a fellow digi-designer's acrylic flairs and just in time when time is almost gone. hehehe...

... and the other one are these fancy index films (or strips). =D

Remember This and more...

Hey... Happy Thursday and I am glad to show you my new kit in store today at Mscraps, Remember This. I was just thinking of creating a mini kit to go along with my 2009 recap album (which I will be discussing a little shorter) but I ended up creating a full kit. lol! Here's the preview.

I had fun creating this kit and at the same time creating word arts to go with it, too. I have a few wordarts with the kit but I created an add-on for the kit with 12 wordarts, Remember This Word Art Add-on.

Here's a page I made using this kit...
: : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : :

On the other side, here's the reason why I came up with the kit and thus named it Remember This. Hehehe... I was planning on creating a photobook for my 2009 recap (hopefully have this printed, too). When I finished it, there seemed to be lacking. That's when I thought of creating a minikit to embellish it a little bit but in the end I was able to create a full kit. Hehehe...

This is a 24 pages album, with 2 pages per month to highlight. Some of the pages were layout for 1-full page photo or collage of photos, while some were layout with a few photos and a lot of white spaces for journaling. This is also Shutterfly ready and I added the front cover, spine and back cover to make it easier for you to create... Remember This Album Template. *wink*

Take a look at my 2009 recap album...

Lastly, I have this very simple date pieces created to personalize it a little further, Date It 1.
This will not be possible without the generosity of the font-maker Miss Tiina. Because of her free fonts, I was able to create these numbers-days-months stickers and stamps. Go, visit Miss Tiina's blog and store for more goodies.

Last but not the least, all of these are 20% off for 3 days (starting today to Saturday). And I am giving away 2 coupons for FREE (1 for the kit and 1 for the album). Just leave a comment here with your email addy (please do include your email address so that I can email you the coupon code incase you win *wink*). If you are a member of the Mscraps forum then you can leave a comment there as well (under the thread Random RAK) for additional entry. And also if you tweet, facebook or hootsuite this, come back here at the comment section for additional entry. The more entry, the more chances of winning... *teehee*

Since Kim will be using the pc on weekend (Friday & Saturday), I will be back on Sunday, April 25, to draw the winners. Hope you participate. :)

Thanks for visiting.

Frame Me + Freebie

Hello there.... I've been quite busy this week doing an Auto CAD and 3D work for a food chain but I can't get to stop scrapping instead. *rollingeyes* I got to finish the 3D soon and I have to spend more time with it since I'm a slooooow poke with 3D. It's been centuries since I did a 3D and I have no idea how I will finish this project. Plus I'm sooo hooked with scrapping and designing. Hahaha... Anyways, I though I'll just finish this frames and photomasks for the store and rest from scrapping for a few days to be able to finish the 3D I'm working on (or else I will not get paid and leave a bad impression to the owner... huh... that's bad).

Okay... okay... 5 things from me today:
First, here are my new products in the store now. Frame Me 1. These are 5 swirly frames which you can use to beautify your layouts and you can also recolor the swirly stamps to embellish your layouts. (Just click on the image for the details).

Frame Me 1 - Swirly Frames Collection

Me 2. These are punched photomasks for your photos. They are 4 sets each of landscape and portrait photomasks punched with star, circle, heart and flower. (Just click on the preview for the details).

Frame Me 2 - Punched Photomasks Collection

Second, the Frame Me 1+2. It's a bundle pack of the swirly frames and punched photomasks. You can save when you purchase this instead of the individual packs. *wink* Hehehe... (Again, just click on the preview for details).

Frame me 1+2 - The Bundle pack

Third, here's a couple of layouts from me using Doodelle's 2 Hug is 2 Love kit @ Mscraps:

Fourth... Shop now until Sunday and you'll have 20% discount on them... it's a lot of savings, right? *giggle* And I'm giving away my Frame Me 1 and Frame Me 2 to the 2 of you. Just leave a comment here at the comment section and then by Monday evening, Feb.22 (Dubai time, GMT +4), I will pick up through hand drawing 2 names. Those 2 will choose either Frame Me 1 or Frame Me 2 as their price (whichever they like). *wink* Sounds good? *biggrin*

And fifth, for those who can't make it for the fourth and for those who can't purchase (and only relies on freebies), here's a freebie. A Frame Me freebie consisting of 1 swirl frame and 1 punched photomask. Because I had a great and fun time creating these, I decided to make 1 freebie each. I'm so into making these thing that I believe I'll be doing more of these kinds in the future. Hope you keep on coming back here and at my store.

Download here

That's all. Hope you like them and purchase them.
Have a great weekend pipol... c'',)

Doodles

Hello... remember my freebie Free Spirit littlekit? I had the add-on frames (my freehand drawn doodle frames) as my first blog surprise for those who left their comments. We'll I didn't reach the numbers of comments I was hoping but it was alright. Now, I'm giving this away as freebie. Just made a few changes. For those who like them, grab them here or just click on the image.

(Pardon my photos. I always or usually put photos on my frames since I don't like looking at them bare... *giggle*)

I hope to be able to make more doodle frames and elements in the future... I'm just waiting for my Wacom pen tablet (Wacom Craft). LOL! As if I have bought it already. LOL! I'm still saving for it and sad to say it won't be anytime soon. *sigh*. But for the meantime, I will still create doodles for fun. Hope you'll enjoy these frames. Do watch out for coming surprises and challenges. *wink*

Take care...

Yano turn 3 months and some freebies

Yesterday, September 21, our Yano turned 3 months old. Three months of sleepless nights, taking care of a baby and a young boy, doing some house chores, and no house help... we made it through... whew! I'm so tired and sleepy today but I wanted to post this. Anyway, I can't sleep just yet, the Kuya's awake and doesn't like me sleeping (he kept on asking me about anything) and the baby always wanted to be carried. *sigh**sigh**sigh*... I'm just soooo tired. There came a point that I felt I wanted to give up and send the children to Philippines. But just thinking of it (the children away from me) makes me feel sad and broken hearted. Yes, I'd be free and I could sleep all I want and go wherever I want and do anything I want... but they are my life and I don't think I can stand the loneliness with them away from me. So, I'll just keep on keeping on and be happy (hakuna matata that is). But I still want a day off? Hahaha... *sigh* I hope the house help arrives soon and that she would really be a help and not a burden. I personally don't know her nor met her but Kim said she saw her and she's recommended by his aunt. I'll trust them and I do hope she'll do good.

Going back to Yano's turning 3 months, here's a simple layout I made to record this special moment.

Another freebie I wanted to share with you... assorted frames. These are the frames I made for some of my layouts. They are just simple white frames. You can also recolor if you like.

Journal:
friends... like family. ohana means no one is left behind.

Among the many friends we have here in UAE (specially here in Al Ain), these guys are the closest to us. From the first time me and Makuy arrived here, they are the ones we always hang out with, share insights, heartaches, problems, funny-happy moments, and the lists just go on and on. They are our family here and as a ohana, "no one will be left behind". We may someday walk through different directions but deep inside they will be forever cherished and hopefully stay connected. Thank you to them for the love and support they gave us in times we needed it the most. I love you guys... (chuva) *wink*

I always visit Jaime Choi's blog and I admire her layouts as well as her itty bitty kits (her designs). She's one of my inspirations when it comes to digiscrapbooking. I hope and pray that I would also be able to create my own kits... but I still have to learn so many things. In creating my layouts, I usually get my inspiration through the layouts of other digiscrappers. I saw this circular date stamp and I kinda liked it but it was for sale and since I don't have the means to buy them, I usually create my own from scratch. I was already able to create 4 circular stamps and I'd like to share them with you (specially for those who only rely on freebies like myself). Hehehe... Hope you'll enjoy using them.

Download here

As for these alpha, I created them to be sticker alphas since I couldn't find the alpha that I liked to add on my layout. I used Friends font which I got from the net. You can download them if you like.

Enjoy the challenge and thank you for downloading my freebies.

Thank you for passing by... :)

Four Season Littlekit Add-ons

I’m still here… I’m just being slow lately and busy taking care of the baby and the big brother that is. When time allows, I’m able to really sit in front of the computer and create something or just blog about something. I’m even missing so much lately on my foodblog (files are piling up for posting… *sigh*). But I’ve decided to stay alive here and there. Lol!

With my very first littlekit, Four Season, I’d like to share this freebie from that littlekit. This quickpage is dedicated to those with babies like mine. I derived this quickpage from the layout I made for the four season littlekit. I just added little stamps at the bottom (you can also download the stamps below). Hope you’ll like it.

Download here

This is the layout I made using the Four Season quickpage.

Here are the stamps which you can turn into brushes. I used the font Pea Dalovely Damanda Doodles and made them into stamps.

Download here

I know… I know… I still need to improve on creating but for a beginner in designing I hope I’m doing well. I’m cooking up on some thing. Just keep on visiting for more freebies.

Thanks for looking.
